Reaching the Workshop site

Workshop will take place at Pôle Numerique Brest Iroise (PNBI). Please refer to the travel informations page for more informations about how to reach. Note that a shutlle will allow you to reach the PNBI from Brest town centre, time table and shuttle stops are availbale on the travel informations page.

Welcome

You will be welcomed at Pôle Numerique Brest Iroise (PNBI) on the april 10 between 8h30 and 9:00 with a coffe. We will be given your badge, book of abstract, tickets for the lunch and your re-usable cup (that you can use dunring the whole event to limit wastes). Out of these hours please contact members of the organization commitee that you will be able to recognize with their red collar.

Restauration

All lunches will be taken at the RAK restaurant at 10 minutes walking time from PNBI (see Symposuim schedule for lunch hours). Don't forget to bring with you the tickets for the lunches (included in the registration fees, to recover during welcome coffe).

A dinner will be served at PNBI on the april 8 at 18h30 (included in registration).

Items to bring to the workshop

Please bring with you :

• Laptop with matlab 2006 or higher
• Recent version of DEBtool and  AmPtool
• A well prepared mydata file for your pet
• Netlogo
• NichMapperR (DEB in practice IV)
• List of participants (we skip introductions) :

If you don't have a Matlab license, there are two viable options:

• Download the free 30-day trial version from mathworks.com. Organize it so that these 30 days includes your visit to Brest.
• Buy the Student version of Matlab if you are a student at a university. The student version apparently has all the capabilities of Matlab and is cheap (35 Euro excl. VAT for the basic program).
